Oh man. Rebecca Black is a whole other subject. But her ridiculous song plays through my head every single Friday.
This week has passed so quickly and yet so slowly. I feel like it was just wedding day for my wonderful friend Mattie, but at the same time it has felt like it's taken so long to get here! And now the real question is, what to do this weekend? I decided to compile a short list of ideas for you and yours if cleaning isn't the only thing you want to be doing.
Pumpkin Patches! - Such wonderful little things to take your kids to! Or you know, be like me and go as a date. Most places who have pumpkin patch events frequently have other fun things to do like games for you kids, corn mazes, photo ops. It's lovely.
Costume Shopping - Don't have any ideas yet? Can't afford to buy a new outfit? Local second hand stores usually carry a large variety of gently used outfits for those of you who don't want to or don't have the time to make your own costumes for your little ones. If you're feeling crafty, here are some links to several cool ideas.

Zoo Trip - People so often associate zoos with summer fun but if you live in a relatively temperate climate or simply some place that hasn't frozen over yet, fall is such a great time to go to the zoo. The temperatures are at a comfortable level for most animals so you're less likely to walk around and find animals hidden or sleeping.
Nature Walks/Drives - Fall is beautiful if you haven't had the time to notice between diaper changes, temper tantrums, and hauling kids from one activity to another. My hubby and I find driving out of town to the mountains or going down near the river are great stress relaxing activities and gets us back on track. Plus, N loves finding things to play with on the ground. Exploration is rarely a bad thing, especially outside!
