Meals On Wheels - Albuquerque
Each recipient of food receives one meal per day which consists of a hot entree, two sides, milk or juice, bread, salad, and either fruit or a dessert. The meals are nutritious and are tailored to each individual's medical needs. Meals On Wheels is currently able to offer meals to help those with diabetes, renal failure, heart issues, chewing/swallowing, and more.
To be eligible, the participants must meet federal guidelines for poverty level ($900/month or less) and be in need of special diet due to health issues. Age is not an issue!
Like all charities, Meals On Wheels requires donations and volunteer help to keep their nonprofit going. If you are interested in contacting Meals On Wheels and helping them out, feel free to visit their website.
Weight Loss Update: Currently 155lbs, 30lbs to go. Started taking green coffee bean supplement and will probably be starting some green tea or garcinia supplement. Had a mix up with our debit card autopay with Defined Fitness but I'll be hitting the gym soon, again!
NaNoWriMo Update: I feel like I actually failed to mention this one so I will delve more into the details tomorrow. Current word count: 7,291.
